Silk-stitch coil construction
The subtle tan and brown tones in this fish-hook patterned piece
are created by boiling the long, silk-fine chunga strands in cocobolo wood (Dalbergia retusa)
shavings (for the darker tones) and "Sidi'" (lighter tan), the fruit of a vine that grows abundantly in riperian environments.
