Silk-stitch coil construction
This coppery pale pink color is unique to the village of Aruza,
and the vegetal dyes consist of a secret mix of P'ucham (trumpet vine flower),
and Palo tinte, or Teca, the leaves of the Teakwood tree. Brown tones
are most often created using Cocobolo (rosewood) bark and shavings.
